DePaul Athletics Launches Co-Branded Beer Cans with Revolution Brewing

Ahead of the 2025-26 men’s and women’s basketball seasons, DePaul Athletics and Revolution Brewing have announced a new, co-branded 16-ounce can of Cold Time Premium Lager. The collaboration celebrates DePaul’s community-driven spirit and Revolution’s deep Chicago roots in craft brewing.

The cans will debut inside Wintrust Arena beginning Nov. 3 at the Blue Demons men’s basketball season opener against Chicago State and will be available all season long. The design proudly showcases DePaul Blue Demons branding alongside imagery representing the university’s rich athletic and campus traditions, from Wish Field to McCabe Hall, named in honor of former DePaul President Rev. Francis Xavier McCabe.

“As we continue building the DePaul Athletics brand across Chicago, we’re always looking for ways to create fun, memorable moments for our fans,” said Associate Vice President and Deputy Athletics Director Taylor Stapleton. “This collaboration with Revolution Brewing gives our fans another way to show their pride, celebrate Chicago and enjoy the spirit of DePaul Athletics together.”

The DePaul co-branded Cold Time can will debut at Wintrust Arena for the DePaul basketball season, and will future release throughout the DePaul campuses and nearby retailers.

“As Chicago’s largest independent brewery, we are fiercely loyal to our city through everything we do,” said Revolution Brewing Director of Marketing Katie McNulty. “The chance to engage with DePaul sports fans through this project and celebrate another strong Chicago institution made this the perfect fit.”
