D6 Inc. Announces Acquisition of Good Natured Products’ Extrusion Facility in Illinois

D6 Inc., a leading provider of high-performance, high-PCR-content, food-grade packaging, has announced the acquisition of the Richmond, Illinois, extrusion facility from Good Natured Products and certain related entities.

The all-cash transaction expands D6’s domestic manufacturing footprint and accelerates the company’s strategic investment in its vertically integrated, closed-loop operating model.

The approximately 75,000-square-foot facility is fully operational, with all employees expected to transition to D6 at closing. The site adds more than 40 million pounds of annual extrusion capacity and is designed to run a significant portion of the Clean Wash Flake (CWF) produced through D6’s Omni Recycling Center in Longview, Texas. Integrating this capacity with D6’s recycling operations strengthens continuity across the platform – enhancing control of the value chain and enabling seamless conversion from reclaimed feedstock to finished product.

“This acquisition reinforces the closed-loop platform we’ve been building for the past decade,” said Louis Dominion, Chief Financial Officer of D6. “By expanding our extrusion capacity and pairing it with our internal recycling capabilities, we’re strengthening control from shelf to bale and back to shelf. Most importantly, it gives our customers greater surety of supply and supports their growing need for reliable, high-quality, food-grade PCR packaging.”

The transaction marks another milestone in D6’s multi-year buildout of its domestic circular infrastructure. With recycling, extrusion, and thermoforming capabilities unified under one platform, D6 provides national retailers, value-added food processors, and consumer brands a dependable source of sustainable packaging solutions at scale. The addition of the Richmond facility strengthens operational resilience, increases material security, and accelerates D6’s capacity-expansion initiatives to support long-term customer demand.
