A Brand Best Known For Faux Meat Goes Beyond With Sports Drink ‘Immerse’

Beyond Meat might be best known for its plant-based alterna-meats.

Yes, they still have the faux meats—sausages, burgers, chicken, and steak—but their latest product isn’t meant to replace the animal flesh on your plate at all.

Immerse is a new sports recovery drink that combines protein, antioxidants, fiber, and electrolytes in a single 12-oz beverage. The protein is, of course, plant-based, derived from peas and tapioca. Immerse launches with three flavors, Peach Mango, Lemon Lime, and Orange Tangerine, and two protein options, 10 and 20 grams. Additionally, the beverages contain no GMO ingredients or added sugar alcohols.
