YouTube Turns Twenty, Reveals New Brand Identity

YouTube Turns Twenty, Reveals New Brand Identity

Even for those of us who are old enough to remember a world without the video-sharing site YouTube, it’s hard to imagine what life without it would be like. Twenty years on, it’s not only the largest video site on the planet, by far, but it’s a cornerstone of the web itself. Like to watch bail hearings from Texas? There are hours of that available on YouTube. Want to learn how to cook traditional Mexican food from scratch? YouTube has you covered there. Make-up tutorials, bicycle repair, smartphone reviews, video game playthroughs, music, news casters reacting to viewers’ tweets, vintage movies and television shows, all that’s on YouTube, too.

And of course, since it’s the internet, there’s plenty of videos of cats doing funny cat things.
