The company has operated in the US food packaging sector for more than three decades, supplying items to venues such as stadiums, universities, cafés, and catering businesses.

Its products are intended to help organisations manage packaging waste through practical solutions.

Eco-Products has been present in Europe since 2017, where it has built a customer base for its packaging across EU countries.

The partnership with Vegware will give UK buyers access to Eco-Products’ portfolio along with local support services.

Vegware managing director Helen Mathieson said: “We’re seeing strong customer interest in reusable and recyclable options alongside compostables.

“Partnering with Eco-Products allows us to offer proven designs, reliable performance, and a joined-up approach to packaging that fits the realities of today’s foodservice operations.”

Available products in the UK will include reusables such as the Veda range, developed for return and reuse systems, as well as recyclable cups suitable for local recycling processes.

The company will also offer compostable packaging that can be processed at industrial composting sites.

These items are aimed at foodservice businesses seeking alternatives to traditional packaging across various formats, including both takeaway and dine-in operations.

Eco-Products general manager Wendell Simonson said: “We’re excited to officially launch Eco-Products in the UK.

“As in the US, demand continues to grow for products and services designed to help the foodservice industry meet its sustainability goals. Working closely with the Vegware team to support customers in their home market is something we’re really looking forward to.”

In 2024, Eco-Products introduced the Veridian line in the US, which consists of more than 50 types of compostable foodservice items such as cups, lids, containers, and cutlery.
