Wild Cherry Pepsi Lip Balm Goes Retro With Vacation Collab

Takashi Murakami Brings His Signature Flower Power To Dom Pérignon

Vacation and Wild Cherry Pepsi have teamed up for a new lip balm inspired by the fruity cola flavor. The collaboration comes in just in time for Valentine’s Day.

The packaging design is typical of Vacation’s 80s poolside vibes. The tubes use a retro Pepsi logo and graphics from the late 80s, including the “Wild Cherry” wordmark, cherries, and striped background. The tubes’ bottom and cap are Pepsi blue, balancing the mostly red body. Pepsi dominates the branding, with the Vacation mark near the cap.

Wild Cherry Pepsi is a popular lip balm flavor, and the soda brand has licensed it to other brands like Taste Beauty and Read My Lips in the past. But in this latest collab with Vacation, the packaging eschews the current Pepsi branding for a vintage look that’s perfectly at home in Vacation’s brand world.
