CAA Opens Producer Reporting Portal Ahead of 2026 EPR Deadlines

Today, Circular Action Alliance (CAA) opened its Producer Reporting Portal, marking a major milestone as Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) programs move into active reporting across multiple states.

The portal will support several key activities, including annual and simplified supply reporting, producer registration, and source reduction planning, with multiple reporting windows open concurrently.

Key dates include:

March 31, 2026

  • Annual supply reporting (CY 2025 data) opens for California, Colorado and Oregon
  • Simplified supply reporting opens for Minnesota
  • Maryland producer registration opens (required prior to reporting)

Late April (targeted)

  • Simplified supply reporting opens for Maryland and Washington
  • California Annual Source Reduction Report opens

May 31, 2026

  • Deadline for all annual and simplified supply reports listed above

With several reporting and registration activities opening at the same time, CAA is encouraging producers to begin preparation now and review available guidance in advance of submission deadlines. Additional reporting functionality is scheduled to roll out in April, with updates communicated directly to producers if timelines shift.
