Inline Plastics Launches 4-Compartment Clamshell with Anti-Migration Technology

Inline Plastics Launches 4-Compartment Clamshell with Anti-Migration Technology

For food retailers and processors, packaging multi-component items often comes with a tradeoff. Ingredients mix, presentation suffers and product quality can be compromised before it ever reaches the consumer.

Inline Plastics is addressing that challenge with the launch of its newest Safe-T-Fresh® innovation, the TSSB4CD — a four-compartment clamshell designed to keep flavors separate, presentations clean and food secure from pack to purchase.

Engineered for grab-and-go snacks, deli assortments, and seasonal offerings, the TSSB4CD features advanced anti-migration technology that prevents ingredients from mixing. Each compartment maintains product integrity, ensuring flavors, textures and visual appeal remain exactly as intended — even in high-traffic retail environments.

From snack packs with dips to candy assortments and fresh produce combinations, this solution helps food businesses deliver a better eating experience while reducing mess and product compromise. Its compact footprint and deep compartments provide ample capacity without sacrificing shelf efficiency, making it ideal for on-the-go consumption.

In addition to product separation, the TSSB4CD helps address growing concerns around food safety and product security. Each container includes a tamper-evident tear strip for clear, visible indication of first opening, along with a tamper-resistant perimeter seal that doubles as a leak-resistant barrier — helping protect against spills, mixing and uncertainty.

The TSSB4CD also supports sustainability initiatives. Made with PET containing 10% post-consumer recycled content, it helps businesses meet environmental goals while maintaining the crystal-clear visibility that enhances product presentation and drives purchase decisions.

With its combination of separation, security, and shelf appeal, the TSSB4CD provides a smarter, more reliable way to package multi-component foods in today’s fast-paced retail and foodservice environments.
