Every four years, the world turns its attention to athletes from all corners of the globe competing against each other in a showcase of peak athleticism.
It isn’t just the performance on the track and field that everyone becomes obsessed with, either. With a giant gathering of young athletes in prime physical form coming together to compete and party, it seems almost inevitable there would be some Olympic-level shagging going on, and folks want at least some of the details.
There are the cardboard beds, for example, which at first glance seem too flimsy to hold up to Olympic sex, leading many to think it’s to prevent athletes from any funny business. But several athletes, like gymnast Rhys McClenaghan, put those concerns to sleep with a very work-safe demonstration over social of the beds’ sturdiness. The beds aren’t designed to discourage athletes from getting intimate. Instead, the cardboard construction is part of making the Olympics more sustainable by reducing non-recyclable waste.
