Fans of McDonald’s express their affinity beyond chowing down copious amounts of Big Macs and McNuggets, with plenty of folks also devoted to collecting the brand’s trinkets and merchandise, whether it’s in the form of Happy Meal toys or tumblers. Some of the most popular items, like anything Pokemon-related, drive hordes of adults to scoop up the items, leaving none for the children McDonald’s actually created the toys for.
The latest McDonald’s collectible cup collection celebrates some of the brand’s most popular toys. The set of six features collectibles from brand collaborations such as Hot Wheels, Barbie, Sherk, Minions, Jurassic Park, Beanie Babies, Hello Kitty, Peanuts, Coca-Cola, and McDonald’s own set of characters like Grimace and the Furry Fry Friends.
“There’s an undeniable thrill when you snag that one elusive McDonald’s collectible or the final piece to complete your collection. We’re bringing back some of our most-loved keepsakes with a twist, giving fans a memory that they can hold in their hands,” Morgan Flatley, global CMO and head of new business ventures at McDonald’s, said in a press release. “These new collectible cups commemorate some of our most unforgettable designs and global collaborations over the years, allowing longtime fans to relive treasured moments and helping a new generation make their own lasting memories.”
