McCafé, a coffee-house-style food and beverage chain owned by McDonald’s, has announced a new line of commercially compostable espresso coffee capsules.
Designed for Nespresso Original Coffee Machines, the new coffee capsules are made from a blend of Rainforest Alliance-certified arabica beans.
The capsules’ commercial compostability and the recyclability of their flexible packaging bags are facilitated by the McCafé Free Composting & Recycling Program, operated by TerraCycle.
Consumers interested in participating can sign up on the TerraCycle website to receive a free shipping label for the mail-back programme.
The new McCafé Espresso Coffee Capsules are now available at participating retailers across Canada, offering a sustainable and high-quality coffee option for Nespresso machine owners.
The new range of McCafé Espresso Coffee Capsules offers a variety of intensities to suit different tastes.
