CCEP GB launches PMPs for Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola ARTD range

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Great Britain (CCEP GB) has announced the introduction of price-marked packs (PMPs) for its Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola alcohol ready-to-drink (ARTD) range.

This strategic move is aimed at aiding convenience retailers in offering clear value to customers and boosting sales.

The 330ml cans of Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola Original Taste and Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, priced at £2.39 ($3.10), were made available yesterday (19 August) across Great Britain.

CCEP GB ARTD associate director Elaine Maher said: “Value remains a lead motivation for shoppers in convenience, followed by the demand for quality and brands which makes price-marked options from our Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola ARTD range a perfect addition to our portfolio to help further grow the £36m worth of sales achieved since launch last year.

“In fact, Jack Daniel’s and Cola-Cola Original Taste is already the No.1 SKU [stock-keeping unit] in the ARTD category, and a must-stock for convenience retailers.

“We recommend that retailers get stocked up to help drive rate of sale of Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola ARTD in their store. And stay tuned for more price-marked news from our portfolio in the coming months!”

Support for the launch of the Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola PMPs cans will include point-of-sale (POS) materials and digital assets available on the trade website My.CCEP.com.

Additional marketing tools such as fridge trays and clip strips will also be provided.

The launch of PMPs is part of a broader promotional effort, including the ‘Born Ready to Reunite with Your Crew’ campaign, which offers consumers the chance to win £500 gig vouchers and retailers the opportunity to win £2,000 for a summer social, along with branded merchandise.

Sampling initiatives will continue throughout the summer to encourage trial and maintain brand visibility among consumers.

Recently, CCEP announced an investment of $105.5m to expand its manufacturing capabilities in Australia.
