Duravant acquires T-TEK for packaging automation expansion

Duravant, a provider of engineered equipment and automation solutions, has acquired US-headquartered high-speed packaging machinery manufacturer T-TEK Material Handling.

This strategic move bolsters Duravant’s presence in the packaging sector, particularly within the food, beverage, and consumer products industries.

T-TEK specialises in designing and developing end-of-line equipment, including palletisers, depalletisers, conveyors, and custom automated lines.

The company serves blue chip producers of packaged beverage, food and consumer products. It also offers customised solutions that address small, non-standard packages that are fragile and difficult to palletise.

Duravant chairman and CEO Mike Kachmer said: “We’re excited to welcome T-TEK to Duravant. T-TEK has an impressive history of fostering strong customer relationships through a differentiated service delivery model. Their technical sales and consultation process is key to their longstanding partnerships with brand owners, facility operators, engineering firms, and integrators.”

T-TEK’s product portfolio complements Duravant’s existing brands, including nVenia, Mespack, and Wulftec, all of which are part of Duravant’s packaging segment.
