Pizza Hut, a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, has launched the a new pizza packaging box design that can be converted into a miniature table.
The Moving Box Table is crafted from a ‘red checkered corrugated structure’ that easily folds into a sturdy base, supporting the pizza box as a tabletop.
This creative design allows for a mini table to be assembled in just a few steps, addressing the common issue of lacking furniture during a move.
The new packaging is offered as complimentary with the purchase of a large menu-priced pizza at select locations in Dallas, Charlotte, and Orlando.
Available from 27 August 2024, this limited-edition offer is exclusive to carryout orders and will be available while supplies last.
The initiative comes in response to the high demand for pizza during moving days.

According to a survey commissioned by Pizza Hut in July 2024 of 1,069 Americans aged 18+ years, 85% of people consider pizza as the best meal option and 87% of Americans have ordered pizza during a move.
Pizza Hut chief marketing officer Melissa Friebe said: “Many can relate to the chaos that comes with moving, and the last thing you want to worry about is unpacking to enjoy a hard-earned meal at the end of a long day.
“We love that pizza is a universal moving-day tradition for many, but we hate that it ends up eaten on the floor. This Moving Box Table will help us show up for Pizza Hut customers by providing not just a delicious pizza after a stressful moving day but somewhere easy and comfortable to enjoy it, too.”
