Packaging products manufacturer Novolex has introduced Power Prep bags and rolls, a new packaging solution designed for grab-and-go hot sandwiches and other premium takeaway options.
Manufactured by Novolex brand Bagcraft, the Power Prep range uses oil-and-grease-resistant paper that is per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)-free.
The Power Prep packaging material is laminated to a liner with a honeycomb structure, creating an insulated layer that maintains the temperature and flavour of the food.
This feature is complemented by an anti-curling lamination, which allows for flat sheeting, streamlining the preparation process for foodservice operators.
The packaging also allows custom printing options, enabling brands to showcase their identity and promotional content effectively.
The multilayered design of the bags and rolls ensures that foods remain at peak flavour from the time they are wrapped and frozen to when they are reheated and served.

Aimed at convenience stores, supermarkets, and foodservice providers, Power Prep bags and rolls are a response to the increasing demand for high-quality prepared food options.
These products join the Power Prep wraps, introduced earlier in 2023, expanding Bagcraft’s portfolio of packaging solutions for the grab-and-go market.
Novolex will exhibit the complete Power Prep line, including wraps, bags, and rolls, at the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) show in Las Vegas.
