10 Top ‘Can’t Miss’ Design & Equipment Stories

Packaging design-related stories do well with our global audience for a couple reasons.

Curiosity for one. Who doesn’t want to see what other packaging designers are creating that’s new, clever, fun, effective?

But also, it’s the package that much of your job revolves around. Developing or maintaining packaging machines? What new materials or shapes might you have to handle in the future? You, too, need to see these designs.

And while sustainability continues to influence design, this month it isn’t the only consideration. Good ole marketing value comes into play with several of these projects as brands fight for shelf presence and sales.

If you’re a regular reader of Packaging Digest, you know our coverage extends to other facets of packaging functions — into production and machinery. So there are a couple gems in here for our equipment engineers.

In reverse order, here are the stories you enjoyed most from May 2024.
