The Best Redesigns of 2024

The Best Redesigns of 2024

It’s fair to say that 2024 wasn’t a banner year for redesigns.

Not that there were slim pickings—there were actually quite a few. But it also seemed like many brands were leaving into the nip/tuck treatment for the sake of media attention, and the strategy behind the work was often rooted in flimsy pretenses and the tightest of timelines. There were also a few highly controversial refreshes from the likes of Jaguar and Tropicana that caught the ire of plenty of designers and consumers and made national headlines, turning all of us into armchair critics. While we might not have seen a plethora of distinctive designs, at least the misses gave us plenty to talk about.

But let’s also not fool ourselves and get too far over our skis into the land of negativity. There was good work to oggle and celebrate, and I’ve gathered my five favorite refreshes from the year.
