Mosca and Reisopack form MoRe Packaging Group

Mosca, a German manufacturer of strapping machines and strapping materials, and Spanish packaging machinery company Reisopack have created MoRe Packaging Group to improve their offerings.

As part of this strategic merger, Reisopack will operate under the umbrella of the Mosca Group.

The newly founded MoRe Packaging Group, located in Barcelona, Spain, will function as a holding company, encompassing the legally independent units of Reisopack and the Spanish division of Mosca Direct.

Mosca Group shareholder Timo Mosca said: “We are combining our strengths to offer our customers even better solutions and services for their applications.”

The merger brings together Mosca’s expertise in end-of-line industrial solutions with Reisopack’s specialisation in agricultural product applications.

Mosca added: “With this holding structure, Reisopack will formally become part of the Mosca Group, further strengthening our market position and enhancing our ability to deliver innovative packaging solutions to specific market segments.”

Both companies will maintain their own product ranges and continue to serve their respective traditional market segments.

Reisopack managing director Oscar Saldaña said: “The merger will enable both companies to leverage synergies in the future, thereby offering customers in their respective market segments added value.”

In July last year, Mosca opened its new global training centre, called Global Service Center, in Waldbrunn, Germany, as part of its global growth initiative.

Covering an area of 250m², the new building is located close to the company’s administrative buildings in Waldbrunn.
