Nelipak invests in future of sterile barrier medical packaging in APAC

Rigid and flexible packaging solutions manufacturer Nelipak is investing in the future of sterile barrier medical packaging in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, with an intention to extend its capabilities in meeting increasing customer requirements.

Nelipak is strengthening its capabilities in APAC by extending expertise, technologies, and in-region resources.

The company will introduce innovative packaging solutions tailored to the needs of APAC-based healthcare companies.

Nelipak will also continue to collaborate with its preferred partners to better serve local customers.

The company’s medical packaging products include a diverse array of custom sterile barrier solutions.

These products are specifically engineered to address the complex needs of the healthcare sector, ensuring the safety and integrity of medical devices, the company said.

Nelipak’s flexible packaging range includes items such as die-cut lids, sheets, pouches, and bags.

These solutions are produced from various material substrates, including Tyvek, medical papers, films, foil-laminates, and the company’s proprietary heat-seal coating technologies.

These flexible medical packaging solutions were integrated into the Nelipak Healthcare Packaging portfolio following the company’s acquisition of Bemis Healthcare Packaging Europe in 2019.

This acquisition broadened Nelipak’s capabilities in the medical packaging sector.

In addition to flexible packaging, Nelipak provides rigid thermoformed trays and tray-sealing machines.

These solutions are designed to meet the stringent requirements of the medical device industry, with the company saying it is committed to tailoring its offerings to meet local requirements.
