Hotel Chocolat’s Thoughtfully Textured Easter Egg Packaging

Hotel Chocolat’s Thoughtfully Textured Easter Egg Packaging

Hotel Chocolat Design Studio‘s Easter egg packaging mirrors the soft, curved ridges of a cacao pod, rendered in sculpted paper pulp with a chalky, matte finish. The embossed logo adds a soft yet tactile detail, while the outer sleeve is flecked with recycled cacao husk, giving it a natural texture that doesn’t feel forced.

A gold crack motif runs vertically across the label like a delicate fault line, playful but restrained. Every piece is designed to look beautiful and break down easily in the recycling bin, this project is a lovely example of how sustainable packaging design doesn’t have to compromise on innovation and stunning design.
