Everyone Is Craving Nostalgia; CocaCola Leans In and Revives Diet Cherry Coke


The return of Diet Cherry Coke is a nostalgic fever dream come true. 

It also comes at a time when consumers are nostalgia-obsessed, and Coca-Cola is more than leaning in. The re-release of Diet Cherry Coke, which mysteriously disappeared in 2020, taps directly into the cultural craving for familiar flavors and comforting branding. 

It’s also not lost on us that Pinterest Predicts forecasted “Cherry Coded” as a key 2025 trend, and here we are, living it, drinking it, and maybe even spiraling over it.
