Could Glow-in-the-Dark Prescription Labels Help Save Lives?

The glow-in-the-dark packaging for Glowing Relief is not a glow in the dark gimmick, it’s meant to be a life-saving design. Created by Ogilvy Puerto Rico for Farmacias Plaza, the label uses photoluminescent ink to stay visible during power outages, which are a frequent reality for many locals.

The label keeps the pharmacy’s clean black-and-green branding intact, balancing readability with function. Designed to fit standard pill bottles, it upgrades the existing pharmacy system, giving patients clarity and peace of mind when it matters most.
