Newtown Packaging secures new industrial and office space in UK

Newtown Packaging, a UK company specialising in packaging solutions, has reportedly leased a new 41,000ft² site comprising industrial and office spaces at the South Moons Moat estate in Redditch, England.

The company has entered into a three-and-a-half-year lease agreement for the property located at 18-19 Padgets Lane, reported the Business Desk.

This development follows a period of sustained growth, during which the company managed operations across several sites in Redditch.

The newly leased premises, facilitated by commercial property agent John Truslove, consist of two buildings – one spanning 35,764ft² and a smaller 2,237ft² structure previously used as a showroom – along with 3,344ft² of office space, a transport yard, and parking areas.

John Truslove has previously assisted Newtown Packaging with its expansion, including securing a headquarters on Arthur Street and three other sites.

The latest expansion addresses growing demand for the company’s products such as adhesive tapes, packaging materials, and cardboard boxes.

Sydney Mitchell provided legal counsel to Newtown Packaging while Brabners, based in Liverpool, England, represented the landlord in the transaction.

John Truslove joint managing director Ben Truslove said: “We have worked closely with the team at Newtown Packaging for many years, helping them find the space they needed as the company continued to grow.

“We made sure we were here for Newtown Packaging, helping them secure these excellent premises in Padgets Lane, to give the company a secure base for its next phase of growth.”
