The newly installed crane has a load capacity of five tonnes, a span of 7.5m, a lifting height of 5.5m and a runway length of 43m. It is mounted on a runway structure that utilises existing concrete pillars within the facility.

Paklog managing director Kristina Kleković stated: “We chose Konecranes because of their experience and reputation for so many years. Konecranes is a global leader in material handling, so our decision to choose their mobile crane was easy.

“This is our first crane, and working with Konecranes gives us confidence that we can handle our customers’ goods efficiently and safely as they expect us to do. We see Konecranes as a partner who will support us in our work, development and growth in the Croatian market. We also believe that this is the first in a series of future collaborations.”

The X-series crane brings several advanced features to Paklog’s operations: radio control with an integrated display and stepless buttons for precise remote handling, integrated safety lights for improved visibility and a stepless inverter for hoisting and travel with accurate load positioning.

It is equipped with safety and efficiency-enhancing smart features such as hook centreing, “follow me”, snag prevention and sway control.

Smart wireless components are included to monitor the crane’s condition and facilitate maintenance.

Konecranes industrial equipment sales Živko Kajić stated: “We recommended our latest X-series crane to Paklog because its features are well-suited to their operations. The integrated radio control, stepless inverter and smart features will help them handle goods with greater accuracy, efficiency and safety.”
