How Dude Wipes Won Pumpkin Spice Season



Despite my consternations, pumpkin spice season is a thing. It’s one of those contrived, Hallmark-like seasons that come along every August, and along with it, a myriad of products get that PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte) treatment, whether it makes sense or not.

To some extent, I get it. Pumpkin tastes good and is complemented with warm spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and cloves. That combination also pairs well with a surprising number of things, like coffee. A pumpkin spice candle makes sense, too. But we may have gone off the edge when PSL SZN also brings pumpkin spice instant ramen and pumpkin-spice-scented trash can liners to the party.

And pumpkin spice butt wipes? Well, maybe that actually works, at least when executed by a brand like Dude Wipes
