INX International to Debut Pair of Screen Printing Inks at K2025

INX International will introduce a pair of new screen printing inks that drive performance and sustainability for packaging and product decoration when the K2025 show is held October 8-15 in Dusseldorf, Germany. The INXScreen 940LED-LM screen printing inks and INXPad T200 pad printing inks will be featured in Hall 4, Stand C18, and are the first to debut since RUCOINX launched the two product brands in April.

INXScreen 940LED-LM and INXPad T200 represent a tradition of quality, performance, and reliable products. So will a new pad printing series currently in development that is expected to reach the market in the near future.

Innovation in plastics begins with smarter inks and coatings. These new products, as well as Genesis washable ink technology, INXFlex UV flexographic inks, and INXhrc RC, deliver both performance and compliance for packaging and product decoration. That should make them top of mind considerations for the automotive, cosmetics, electronics, medical, and packaging industry professionals who are expected to attend K2025.

INXScreen 940LED-LM is a low migration, dual cure printing ink developed for highly delicate applications such as baby, drink, and plastic bottles, tubes and labels. Free of barium, ITX, benzophenone and 4-Methylbenzophenone, a chemical primarily used as a photoinitiator in UV-cured food packaging printing inks, they are also formulated-free from Bisphenol A.

This makes the inks compliant with the current Nestle Guidance Note on packaging inks. They are also in accordance with the EuPIA Suitability List of Photoinitiators, in addition to the specifications of the Swiss EDI Ordinance on Consumer Goods for inks applied to the non-food contact surface of food packaging.

INXScreen 940LED-LM inks are dishwasher, sterilization, water, and steam resistant, and can be used on all common high-performance screen printing machines. After initial testing, they received positive reviews for good reactivity and adhesion, high gloss and excellent printability, and have exhibited very high opacity through special pigmentation. Both basic and process colors are available, in addition to opaque black and white.

INXPad T200 is a versatile pad printing ink developed for use in several industries. It delivers precision and durability to toys, electronical and household appliances, automotive parts, and promotional items. These inks are also suitable for printing onto the non-contact side of packaging since they are free from phthalates and BPA, as well as cyclohexanones, butyl glycolate, barium, fluorine, and bromine.

Fast drying with chemical, light-fast, mechanical, and weather resistance, INXPad T200 inks are compliant with industrial standards such as the EuPIA Exclusion Policy, various REACH regulations, Swiss Ordinance, the current Toy Safety Directive, and the GADSL list, among others. Available in basic and process colors, opaque black and white, and silver and gold, they can be applied to all types of substrates: ABS, Acrylates, lacquered substrates, PA, PC, pre-treated PE/PP, PET, PS, PVC, rigid, and paper/cardboard coated.

Genesis washable ink technology for shrink label packaging offers substantial benefits. A solvent-based and sustainable ink system, it enables recycling and supports a circular economy with the reuse of recovered packaging materials. It also meets or exceeds the APR’s PET-CG-02 Critical Guidance Protocol for washable and recyclable PET shrink sleeve applications.

INXFlex UV flexographic inks are designed for high shrink applications with superior adaptability. Formulated to be benzophenone and ITX-free, this ultra-low viscosity pourable system provides good adhesion to a wide range of substrates.

INXhrc RC is a high-performance, Nestle-compliant ink system with clean, renewable, and sustainable ingredients for printing on non-porous, rigid plastic, and most decorative plastic and foam-based packaging. Containing high levels of bio-renewable content and formulated without VOC solvents, these inks offer a decreased emissions impact with a CO2 footprint that is 20-30% less than standard aqueous inks.

INX experts will be available to answer any questions about these products at Stand C18 in Hall 4, and attendees can schedule a meeting time in advance.
