SÜDPACK Medica rolls out MedHub for streamlined medical pouch orders

SÜDPACK Medica has launched a new service called MedHub, which enables clients to obtain standard, pre-made pouches for medical packaging by phone, email or online.

The company said these pouches are produced in “ISO-certified cleanrooms” and kept in continuous stock to comply with medical industry quality standards.

Users can request delivery either on specific dates or on a just-in-time basis.

SÜDPACK’s facility in Coulmer, France, has been set up to handle orders quickly and dispatch stocked items without delay.

These pre-made pouches are designed for various uses along the pharmaceutical supply chain such as packaging stoppers, filters and connectors.

They are also used as transfer packaging for items, including vials, ampoules and syringes, which must remain sterile before filling.

The current selection includes Tyvek roll stock and three-side seal pouches made from film and Tyvek.

These materials have properties suited to medical use, including sterilisability, puncture and moisture resistance, and peelability for clean opening.

For heavier contents, the range includes three-side seal pouches made of PA/PE in multiple sizes that provide microbial barriers and are suitable for gamma sterilisation.

All products are manufactured under controlled conditions and are available for order through digital channels at any time.

The service targets customers with a continuous demand for general-use medical packaging.

SÜDPACK Medica also continues to supply customisable pouch solutions in various materials and formats, with options for printing and different opening systems.

In November 2025, SÜDPACK began an expansion project at its Erolzheim site in Germany to increase capacity for its PharmaGuard blister packaging line.
