Maruchan Wants You To Send Saucy Noods To Your Crush

Maruchan has long been obsessed with making instant, convenient sodium bombs for cash-strapped college kids, late-night hangry partygoers, trailrunners, and hardworking folks around the world with its line of cup noodles and ramen. Now, the brand has announced a new kind of meal solution with the announcement of Saucy Noods, a line of sauce-forward instant noodles with a fairly horny name.

Kickstarting with two flavors, Spicy Creamy Chicken and Spicy Chicken, the two new products are said to offer “big taste in minutes.” The packaging looks like your standard-issue instant noodle fare, but it features a bubblelicious wordmark on the bag (at least it’s not in one of those styrofoam bowls).

To help launch the new Martuchan offering, for Valentine’s Day, the brand has asked its fans to head over to its new TikTok shop and send their crush a box of Saucy Noods with free shipping. Additionally—and my old ass definitely doesn’t understand the specifics of this act—Bumble users can swipe right on Saucy Noods, where they will then receive randy messages from the brand, in addition to “noods.” Uh…that’s weird!
