The machine is now also offered in two additional widths EXPERTFOLD 106 for smaller packaging formats and EXPERTFOLD 215 for larger corrugated board applications.

BOBST’s machines are designed for the precise handling of corrugated board and litho-laminated packaging.

Features such as human-machine interface (HMI) SPHERE integrate the equipment with BOBST Connect, enabling remote preparation of production jobs and access to operational data.

This connectivity aims to allow users to generate production reports and manage equipment performance across multiple facilities, supporting shift planning and workflow monitoring.

An earlier version of the EXPERTFOLD 165 was adapted for e-commerce packaging, incorporating modules for the inline application of self-adhesive materials.

The smaller EXPERTFOLD 106 is geared towards manufacturers aiming to optimise limited production space, especially when producing micro-flute boxes.

At the opposite end, the expanded EXPERTFOLD 215 can process blanks up to 2,300mm wide, with extended feeder and delivery sections.

This model is available without a pre-breaker to save floor space but can also include additional modules for producing more complex packaging formats in a single production run.
