De la Calle’s Refresh Leans Into Fiber and Flavor Illustrations


In 2021, De La Calle introduced tepache to the Whole Foods crowd. The Mexican classic is certainly refreshing but also probiotic-rich, making the beverage attractive to fans of other fermented drinks like kombucha or popular gut-friendly sodas like Poppi.

What makes De la Calle stand out among kombuchas and prebiotic sodas, however, is its range of Mexican-inspired sodas not found among either category. De la Calle’s fantastic brand identity and packaging, created by HERE Studio, also drew on Mexican culture. The brand identity lent De la Calle authenticity and vibrancy, and it was a compelling introduction to both tepache and the brand.
