The 3M Matic line aims to reduce manual taping tasks and is intended to provide consistent results at higher speeds.

Adjustable models are available for operations dealing with uniform box sizes while random models can accommodate varying carton dimensions.

The Random Case Sealer 7000r Pro / 7000r3 Pro can automatically adjust to different box heights and widths, handling up to 24 cases per minute, reported Sustainable Packaging News.

Designed for standardised box runs, the Adjustable Case Sealer 7000a Pro / 7000a3 Pro supports interchangeable taping heads and can process up to 40 cases per minute.

Also included is the Case Sealer 8000af / 8000af3, a fully automatic model capable of sealing both top and bottom flaps.

This machine features welded steel construction and safety components, with a capacity of up to 40 cases per minute.

3M has more than 50 years of experience in case sealing equipment.

Antalis notes that the expanded range is aimed at supporting varying packaging needs in automated settings.

Antalis Packaging category manager Steve Marples said: “As businesses look ahead to the coming year, now is the ideal time to evaluate end-of-line packaging processes. Investing early in automated case sealing equipment allows organisations to reap productivity and cost benefits as soon as possible, while also making smart use of any remaining capital budget ahead of the next financial year.”

“Antalis Packaging’s machinery experts are on hand to advise and support, helping customers identify the most suitable case sealing solution for their operation. In addition to case sealers, Antalis also offers case erectors, enabling a fully integrated case handling solution from box forming through to sealing.”
