ProAmpac widens pet food packaging range

ProAmpac has widened its pet food packaging lineup, covering dry kibble, treats, freeze-dried products, retort packaging and pet litter.

The products include QUADFLEX LFQ, a quad-seal pouch intended for medium- and higher-weight pet food uses, including kibble packs of up to 40lb.

The pouch is designed for recyclability and comes with several reclose options.

ProAmpac also pointed to its PRO-EVO SOS Bags, which are multiwall paper bags used across different pet food categories.

According to the company, these bags provide grease resistance, a sturdy structure and printing for retail display.

Its broader pet food packaging portfolio serves products ranging from dry kibble and treats to wet food and animal feed.

ProAmpac said it will present the advancements at Petfood Forum 2026, scheduled for 27–29 April at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

ProAmpac product development director Nicole Cocuzzi said: “Petfood Forum is an important platform to showcase how ProAmpac continues to evolve alongside the pet food market.

“With our expanded capabilities, deep material science expertise, and focus on sustainability, we’re able to deliver a full range of packaging formats that help brands meet performance expectations while standing out in a competitive marketplace.”

Last month, ProAmpac completed its $1.51bn acquisition of TC Transcontinental Packaging (TCP) from TC Transcontinental.

The transaction was first announced in December 2025.

TCP operates 25 facilities and employs 3,500 people. Its activities include extrusion, printing, lamination, converting and recycling.
