A 1,000-Year-Old Tea Tradition Gets a Neon Yingge Dance-Inspired Makeover

Put a neon-drenched martial arts hero mid-battle stance on a kraft paper tea packaging, and you’ve got something special. The Chaozhou Oolong collector’s series by TUSHI Design leads with complete confidence.

The collector’s series draws visual inspiration from Yingge Dance, a centuries-old Chaoshan folk tradition that fuses martial arts, opera, and storytelling into an electric performance art. The illustrations are rendered using a multi-flash, long-exposure photographic technique that gives each hero a blur of movement, layered in vivid neon pinks, electric blues, rich golds, and deep crimsons against the raw, natural texture of the kraft outer box. This system has visual ambition, with sustainability built into its structure, a single unified outer box across the range, and a lightweight, flavor-specific waist seal as the only point of differentiation, minimizing ink use while maximizing cultural and collectible impact.
