Pack of the Month: Ghilli Makes Bathroom Sustainability Truly Desirable

  • Swiss brand and packaging design studio allink teams up with bar soap line Ghilli on a sumptuous brand system with an unmistakable Mediterranean aesthetic.
  • Ghilli rewrites the bar soap narrative with a luxe look committed to sustainability.

Over the past decade or so, bar soap has undeniably slipped down the hierarchy of body wash formats. But the new and highly sophisticated personal care brand Ghilli is here to rewrite the narrative. From the brand and packaging design studio allink based in Zurich, Switzerland, Ghilli is reclaiming the bar soap and shampoo format, proving it can be luxurious, chic, and, most importantly, sustainable.

Hallmarks of the Ghilli packaging design include a striking script wordmark in red outlined in metallic gold and a Mediterranean-inspired color palette that feels inherently timeless and elegant. Even more commendable than these aesthetics is the packaging’s eco-friendly design, which uses cardboard over the plastic that’s primarily used in the category.
