Its site is equipped with offset presses, digital print equipment and finishing machines used for packaging production.

The new system has been brought in for sample preparation and short-run work.

Installed in March, the Iecho PK 0705 Plus is a compact automated cutting machine intended for high-speed, precise output with minimal operator involvement.

It also removes the requirement for manual cutting and physical dies.

The machine can handle a range of substrates, including polypropylene paper, vinyl and KT board.

Several packaging businesses in India are said to have opted for the Iecho PK 0705 for sample creation and print-on-demand work. According to PrintWeek India, additional installations are expected as new orders continue to be confirmed.

Packnology’s current Iecho portfolio includes the PK Series for digital POD [print on demand], PK4 and BK4 for packaging, and AK4, TK4S and SKII for signage and graphics.

Le Roy Print Packs spokesperson Navneet Jain said: “In addition to making product samples or prototypes, our new Iecho PK 0705 is a perfect precision machine for trimming print-on-demand products, which we produce using digital presses. In fact, this highly automated intelligent digital cutting machine from Packnology is truly a marvel for multiple finishing jobs.

“We are grateful to the Packnology team for providing us with such an advanced, accurate, and reliable finishing system and the amiable support they provided us before and after the installation of the machine.”
