Derek&Eric Design Series Of Bitburger Cans Celebrating Germany’s World Cup Wins

  • German Brewer Bitburger has unveiled specially designed cans for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
  • For German fans, Bitburger’s collection by Derek&Eric is inspired by the country’s four World Cup titles, with an aspirational fifth design for the squad’s 2026 run.

Germany’s national men’s soccer team is one of the most decorated in World Cup history, with 4 titles and 8 appearances in final matches. Its last championship win was in 2014 against host Brazil, where they totally overwhelmed the 5-time champions in front of a home crowd. The match ended 7-1 and generated a plethora of memes, many featuring an older, sad fan clutching a trophy replica. Additionally, adult content website Pornhub tweeted a request for users to stop uploading the video of the match onto its site, jokingly saying, “our public humiliation category is full.”
