Premium Gold and Terra Ingredients Launch New Retail Fonio Products in the U.S.



Premium Gold, in partnership with Terra Ingredients, has announced the launch of its first fonio products for the U.S. market—Natural White Fonio in 10 oz and 2.2 lb stand-up pouches—bringing one of the world’s oldest and most nutrient-dense grains to more consumers nationwide.

This launch marks a significant milestone in expanding access to fonio, an ancient West African grain celebrated for centuries for its nutrition, resilience, and culinary versatility. Naturally gluten free, quick cooking, and rich in fiber, iron, and essential amino acids, fonio offers American consumers a nourishing grain option that fits modern lifestyles while honoring one of the world’s oldest cultivated cereals.

Sourced through Premium Gold’s partnership with Terra Ingredients, the new fonio line reflects both companies’ shared commitment to ethical sourcing, regenerative farming practices, and building transparent supply chains that connect consumers to meaningful food origins.

The new Premium Gold Natural White Whole Grain Fonio products will launch first at PremiumGoldFoods.com and Amazon with online and retail grocery distribution expanding nationwide in the months ahead.
