Canned wine has the instant ability to ditch the category’s superiority. It’s immediately more relaxed, and Sparkle Bubbles by Hands Off Wines, designed by Dinámica Studio, is proof. The entire can is a collage explosion on electric blue, featuring a surreal porcelain-faced woman with an elaborate powdered wig, serpents coiling through her hair like baroque ornamentation gone wonderfully rogue.
The illustration style pulls from European baroque portraiture and 18th-century botanical illustration, then runs it through a contemporary collage lens. This packaging format, including the can, throws the whole wine rulebook out and replaces it with something much more art-forward and conversational.
