Seems like every new product lately has a functional or adaptogenic angle. But TEMPO, designed by LYM DESIGN STUDIO, is a chocolate bar that’s bringing a very specific point of view.
Each bar is assigned a specific time of day: 6:40 for wake, 8:15 for clarity, 10:20 for flow, 13:10 for align, and so on through the day. The packaging translates each moment into a soft gradient image that shifts in color temperature accordingly, almost like a screenshot of the actual sky at that hour.
The TEMPO wordmark is embossed directly into the white textured paper wrapper in widely spaced caps, and the time itself is set in a large, elegant serif that dominates the front panel with quiet authority. The system sits on a crisp white ground that lets the gradient windows do all the atmospheric work. TEMPO found an artistic way forward that’s poetic and completely its own.
