Collage-Inspired Design For Chocolarder Champions Repurposing Food Waste

The packaging design for Chocolarder’s new ‘Again’ range, designed by Kingdom & Sparrow, differs from its main line’s packaging system, featuring a bold color palette and collage elements that emphasize its sustainable mission to repurpose food waste.

The design uses eco-friendly paper stock and double-sided printing, which helps educate consumers on food waste with impactful facts revealed after opening. The circular layout and papercut-inspired logotype are a nod to the brand’s commitment to a circular economy, while the playful aesthetic appeals to an environmentally aware, younger demographic while standing out on high-end retail shelves.

Lenny Mounsher-Quirk, Managing Director of Kingdom & Sparrow, dives into more of the design process.
