DCC acquires TigerPress to expand Northeast US presence

American packaging printing company Digital Color Concepts (DCC) has acquired TigerPress, a folding carton and commercial print manufacturer, to enhance its manufacturing capabilities and extend its market reach throughout the Northeast US.

This transaction marks the company’s first takeover since it received a growth investment from Sherburne Partners, DCC’s majority shareholder, in December 2023.

The TigerPress deal was finalised on 20 November, although the financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

TigerPress is poised to maintain its commitment to delivering customer service and quality from its 100,000ft² facility under the DCC umbrella.

Sherburne Partners co-managing partner Oliver Patten said: “This transaction will significantly bolster our revenue potential across all manufacturing lines and allow us to be a stronger, value-added partner to all of our stakeholders.”

DCC president Don Terwilliger added: “The TigerPress acquisition enhances DCC’s leadership in folding carton and commercial printing in the Northeast, adding valuable resources to drive long-term growth while maintaining our unwavering commitment to serving our customers.”
