Tavern’s 2024 Client Gift Blends Humor, Class, and Horsies (Oh, and There’s a Pretty Sweet Bottle Glorifier)

Tavern celebrated its second anniversary as an agency with a client gift that showcases bold, condensed typography that gives the wine label a confident look and feel. The color palette combines deep, rich tones with typographic refinement, complemented by intricate label blocking and vintage-inspired overlays.

Inspired by chess knights, the dual horse emblem adds a symbolic nod to the inspiration behind the agency’s brand identity. Paired with a patinaed brass glorifier shaped like a horseshoe, the presentation is ironically elegant, complete with wax-dipped tops and an exclusive membership card to enhance the experience. It’s satirical, but in a way that doesn’t feel mocking.

In fact, I’d gladly take a bottle.
