Oroville launches sustainable flexible packaging system

RE:CIRCLE Solutions company Oroville Flexible Packaging has launched a plastic packaging and recycling solution for the circular economy.

The solution, dubbed Oroflex, is a sustainable flexible plastics, packaging, and recycling system designed for retail and foodservice customers.

Oroflex, based in the US, offers customised domestic manufacturing and recycling services.

Audit trails conducted by the system will be transparent, supporting customers’ operational efficiency and sustainability targets.

RE:CIRCLE Solutions founder Clemens Stockreiter said: “Oroflex is more than a plastics manufacturing and recycling company, we are partners in environmental stewardship.

“Retailers, governments and the public are increasingly demanding sustainable methods for producing and using plastic materials. We are dedicated to becoming the supplier of choice across the US for comprehensive flexible packaging solutions to meet those demands.”

Changing trade policies are posing a threat to global supply chains, and customers are in need of reliable and auditable service providers based in the US, according to the company.

Stockreiter added: “The Oroflex system solves these needs while avoiding costly tariffs.”

The concept of a circular economy has become more popular in recent years as businesses and policymakers seek sustainable solutions for reducing waste and maximising resource efficiency.

RE:CIRCLE Solutions is a privately held environmental services company that operates through two primary divisions: Oroville Flexible Packaging and RE:CIRCLE Ontario.

RE:CIRCLE Ontario offers waste diversion strategies for domestic businesses, waste hauliers, and cities.
