Selena Gomez’s Oreo Collab Might Be Too Tasty for the Internet to Hate On

Selena Gomez’s Oreo Collab Might Be Too Tasty for the Internet to Hate On

Multi-hyphenate and Disney alum Selena Gomez generates a lot of internet hate. Sometimes Gomez throws kindling into the flame war herself, whether getting into back-and-forths with her ex’s wife Hailey Bieber, the Kardashian clan, or even garnering MAGA ire over a tearful Instagram story over aggressive ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) sweeps.

However, her latest project seems innocuous enough, partnering with Mondelez’s Oreo in the latest music-related cookie collab for the brand. Like the previous Oreo partnership with artist Post Malone, Selena Gomez’s cookie is a specially created flavor, a mix of chocolate and cinnamon (meant to evoke Selena’s love of horchata). The cookies are also embossed with nods to Gomez’s musical career, including her signature, and the packaging is a shimmering purple featuring a set of wireless headphones with Oreo cookies serving as the ear cups.
