Snacklava unveils new packaging, rebranding

Dar Baklava, known for its Mediterranean sweets, has unveiled a new look for its Snacklava line—reflecting both its commitment to quality and its dedication to clean, all-natural ingredients, the company notes.

This rebrand modernizes Snacklava’s packaging while preserving the purity of its six simple ingredients, the brand says.

“Indulgence should still be good for you,” says Sherif Badawy, Dar Baklava’s founder. A pediatrician and marathon runner, Badawy’s philosophy combines nutrition with indulgence. After moving from Egypt to the U.S., he found that store-bought baklava lacked authenticity—too sweet, missing balance, and often compromised on quality, he said.

Determined to create a healthier version of his favorite dessert, he turned to baking masters in Jordan for inspiration. His reinvention reportedly features premium nuts, minimal sugar, balanced sweetness, and a crisp texture that is never soggy or sticky.

With Snacklava’s refined packaging, Dar Baklava’s commitment to transparency and real ingredients is front and center, it says. The updated look also supports sustainability by incorporating eco-conscious materials, reinforcing the brand’s dedication to responsible production.

The new Snacklava line also comes with expanded offerings, from three varieties to 14, with different textures, flavors, and experiences. This includes the pistachio quartet (Baklava, Kunafa, White Kunafa, and Bird’s Nests), cashew quartet (Baklava, Baklava Fingers, Kunafa, and Bird’s Nests), Walnut Baklava, Mixed Nuts Kunafa, Sesame Crackers with Pistachio, Date Bites with Pistachio (with or without Cardamom and Ginger) and Mini-Cookie Rings.

Snacklava’s rebrand is now available in stores and online on the Dar Baklava website, Amazon, and Walmart.
