Winpak has announced its new status as an authorised converter of DuPont Tyvek healthcare packaging, a critical development for pharmaceutical, medical, and healthcare applications.
This initiative is being undertaken at the Winpak Division site located in Winnipeg, Canada.
Under the Wiicare worldwide healthcare segment, Winpak and its sister company, Wipak, aim to extend their reach, offering comprehensive coverage for customers across Europe, North America, and Asia.
DuPont Tyvek features durability, breathability, and has the ability to maintain sterility of pharmaceuticals and medical devices throughout their life cycle.
Tyvek is a completely synthetic substance composed of spunbound polyethylene (PE) fibres and is utilised to enhance a range of applications across various industries.
The MedForm DT forming films of Wiicare, paired with the uncoated DuPont Tyvek material, present a packaging solution that delivers performance for an array of medical device applications.
Winpak’s partnership with DuPont Tyvek is aimed at fostering patient safety and environmental stewardship through the development of medical packaging.
