Design That’s Bubbling Over with Fun? Meet BooBoo Bubbles

BooBoo Bubbles is on a mission to make healing happy.

The brand wants to change the mindsets of parents and children regarding first aid and turn wound care into a kid-friendly, non-threatening experience. For their inaugural product, a hydrogen peroxide topical solution, the basic, boring brown bottle wouldn’t do.

Studio One Eleven worked alongside the client to bring their idea of happy healing to life with custom packaging that exudes fun and friendliness. We started by developing a range of design platforms to help determine the right strategic approach for the brand. Upon selecting a design direction that focuses on a modern, minimal, but still playful aesthetic, the team got to work on structural and brand design concepts.

The custom bottle mimics the shape of bubbles, with a whimsical and impactful silhouette that is also ergonomic and efficient. It has two flat panels for easy direct decorating, a debossed smiley face, and embossed bubble details that build brand equity and support the brand’s playful positioning. A round flip-top closure in a vibrant, contrasting yellow adds impact and amusement.

Our branding experts complemented the beautiful bottle with a merry, modern, and minimal design. The rounded BooBoo Bubbles logo, typography, and graphic bubble imagery marry perfectly with the bubbly bottle. The elevated design appeals to kids and adults alike—clean and efficacious for parents who want reassurance that the product works, while enchanting and approachable for their tiny patients.

The Studio teams extended the brand design’s healing power of happiness to an ointment, a bandage box, and a first aid “playground pack,” maintaining a cohesive brand presentation.
