Heinz Announces Cute Condiment Cosplay Kits Inspired By ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’

Superheroes popping up on packaging is nothing new. Product tie-ins with consumer brands accompany every big-budget spandex and CGI extravaganza. But Deadpool is no superhero, and it would be off-brand to do the run-of-mill, “put Captain America on the box in a dramatic pose” kind of product collaboration.

Instead of just slapping images of the titular characters of the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine film to Heinz ketchup and mustard bottles, the brand created attachable accessories so the condiments can “cosplay” as the Marvel duo.

The set includes belts and masks for each character. Ketchup’s kit also includes a pair of Deadpool’s back-worn katana swords, and the mustard ensemble features Wolverine’s arms with his Adamantium claws unsheathed.
