Remus Debuts Baseball-Inspired Bottle for The Bambino

Remus Debuts Baseball-Inspired Bottle for The Bambino

Remus Babe Ruth Reserve is a limited-release spirit inspired by Babe Ruth and the finest bourbons of the 1920s. This special collector’s edition provides bourbon and baseball fans a unique and memorable way to celebrate America’s pastime.

With a minimum suggested price of $149.99, the package needed to feel exclusive and premium for the discerning consumer. The Studio One Eleven design team hit it out of the park with a custom package as special as the product inside. The designers created an ornate, rectangular, art deco-inspired glass bottle that pays homage to the style and spirit of the 1920s. Baseball is at the heart of the design, featuring an embossed baseball diamond pattern that stands out as something distinctive and unforgettable. The bottle is topped off with a wooden cork closure that resembles the knob of a baseball bat and is complemented with a diamond-shaped label.

The special product has a limited release of 10,624 bottles, one for each of the Babe’s plate appearances. Each bottle is numbered and includes a QR code on the back label, allowing consumers to scan and discover what Ruth did in their bottle’s numbered plate appearance. That allows consumers to hunt for “home run bottles,” or even more uncommon expressions, creating an engaging brand experience and a sense of personalization and exclusivity.

Baseball enthusiasts are excited about this award-winning package. One reviewer said, “The design is a home run, with the baseball bat-inspired cork and diamond-themed accents creating a truly unique package and aesthetic. It’s a substantial bottle, certainly suitable to be used as a decanter when the original spirit has been shared and enjoyed. The attention to detail is commendable, from the QR code offering insights into Babe Ruth’s plate appearances to the individual bottling numbers.”
