Harvey Nichol’s Maximalist Refresh By Design Bridge Is Absolutely Fabulous


In its heyday during the 90s, London retailer Harvey Nichol’s was known as the store to shop for the latest and greatest in fashion and a well-tread spot to find emerging designers. Harvey Nichols was the first British department store to stock brands like Cartier, Balenciaga, and Lanvin. Constant references in the hit TV series Absolutely Fabulous helped, too.

Over the years, fashion marched forward, and “Harvey Nics” stopped being the forerunner of style. The department store recently enlisted the brand agency Design Bridge to refresh the brand based on the notion that Harvey Nichols is a purveyor of indulgent luxury as a trendsetter, leading from the front.
